Our Aims and Values

© Antingham_Southrepps Primary School (196)

We believe that by a commitment from everyone working together, parents, staff, governors and children, we will provide an education for every child, that will enable them to grow as unique individuals prepared for the next steps in their lives.

Be Positive.

Aim High.

Take Part.

Keep trying.

Challenge Yourself.

Be Respectful.

Our aims and values guide us in all our decision making, from deciding on out development priorities to assembly themes and curriculum choices.

To this end, we aim to:

  • Develop highly motivated, independent pupils, who have high hopes and aspirations, and are confident, outgoing, resilient and respectful of others
  • Provide a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment, that recognises the importance of learning outside the classroom
  • Recognise and foster individual talents and skills
  • Build a learning environment where thinking, questioning, problem solving and challenge happen every day
  • Provide a broad, balanced and enriched curriculum that offers excellent provision for the academic, aesthetic, artistic, creative, physical, social, emotional and spiritual learning entitlements of all pupils
  • Promote the best possible health and well-being for all members of the school community by ensuring a culture of mutual respect and support
  • Establish effective links between home, school and the wider community

Our Curriculum Drivers are:

  • Aspirations - to have high aspirations for my future and know all available opportunities open to me
  • Independence - to have the independence to be able to reach my full potential and take responsibility
  • Mental and Physical Health - to value my own self-worth so I can be the best I can be
  • Resilience - to have the courage to bounce back from setbacks or challenges to be able to grow as an individual

Our Schools

Synergy Multi-Academy Trust comprises fifteen Norfolk schools serving children between the ages of 2 and 18. Our schools work collaboratively together to raise standards and provide education of the highest possible standard, offering the best of opportunities for pupils. The Trust was initially established in 2015. We believe that all of our schools have strengths and areas to develop, and that all can improve through sharing expertise and wisdom. The Trust understands that there will be excellent practice in each school, and that every school will be able to contribute to the development of the Trust as a whole.
